The law firm of Nelson, Kreuger & Schrotenboer, P.C. is located in Hudsonville, Michigan. Our office is located on Central Blvd. across the street from the City Hall and the Post Office.

James Nelson and Steven Kreuger initially gained their experience in defending civil lawsuits by working for a large litigation firm in Southeastern, Michigan. In 1978, they formed their own partnership, Nelson & Kreuger, and opened an office in Grand Rapids, Michigan, serving the West Michigan area. As experienced litigation attorneys, Jon Schrotenboer joined the firm in 1986, and Christi Burda joined the firm in 2003.

On August 1, 2000, the firm moved its office to its new location in Hudsonville, Ottawa County, Michigan. At this new location, the firm is able to more conveniently serve its clientele and is more centrally located to the various courts in the West Michigan area.

The firm has historically specialized in handling civil litigation on behalf of individuals, companies, self-insured companies, self-insured associations, and municipalities. Nelson, Kreuger, Schrotenboer and Burda collectively have over 98 years of experience in handling a wide variety of civil litigation, including products, construction, commercial, municipal, zoning, auto, and general liability claims, as well as insurance coverage and subrogation cases. Christi Burda has also added other areas of legal expertise to the firm, such as workers' disability compensation, social security disability and family law. Our extensive experience with judges and juries throughout the courts in West Michigan gives us an advantage in being able to evaluate and handle local cases.
